⚡️💬 THINKING - Some people fail to grasp how much the laws in wartime differ from those in peacetime.

State of siege, state of emergency, or state of war: depending on how the situation develops and on the country concerned, measures can range from simple restrictions on movement, curfews, and requisitioning of labor or property, to the suspension of rights such as military censorship, warrantless searches of homes, the transfer of police powers to the army, the establishment of military courts for civilians, forced conscription, the banning of strikes, and even imprisonment for anti-army statements.

Many people too often underestimate what war can become. Pray that it never happens. The Covid era was just a teaser…
