⚡️🇨🇩 NEWS - In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the National Fund for Victims' Reparation (FONAREV), which is supposed to compensate survivors of sexual violence and war crimes, has embezzled more than $200 million in collected funds. Less than 2.5% has been used to help victims, with the rest being swallowed up by opaque expenses, undue bonuses, and propaganda campaigns.
