⚡️🚨 NEW - SlowMist founder says 51% attack on Monero by Qubic mining pool appears to have succeeded.

Qubic now controls most of the network's hashrate.

"Now, in theory, the Qubic mining pool can rewrite the blockchain, perform double-spending and censor any transaction..."

Ledger's CTO points out, however, that the attack could cost $75 million a day to maintain.

Still, the community seems very skeptical about the reality of this 51% attack.

For them, Qubic would only become about 33% of the hash rate.

The reaction was immediate, with XMR falling by almost 13%.
