⚡️🇧🇷 NEWS - The mayor's office of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, has passed a bill to make the city the "Bitcoin capital".

It would authorize the use of Bitcoin to pay municipal taxes and fees, and encourage merchants to accept cryptocurrencies.

The bill still has to pass a second ballot and be submitted to the mayor for approval before it is finally adopted.
