⚡️🇮🇹 JUST IN: Italian lawmaker urges banking foundations to buy #Bitcoin.

Banking foundations could be the next to adopt Bitcoin, after Italy's largest bank, according to Marcello Coppo, a member of the Italian Parliament.

A banking foundation is an organization set up as a bank, which uses its funds to support social, cultural and philanthropic activities.

However, he does not foresee the Italian Treasury establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the immediate future.

"If the U.S. invests in Bitcoin, it wouldn't be science fiction for any nation to do the same... But I don't see the conditions for that to happen in Italy in a few months' time".
