⚡️🇺🇦 NEW - Zelensky Warns Ukraine Faces “One of the Most Difficult Moments in Our History” as U.S. Pressure Mounts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the country Friday that Kyiv is being pushed toward a “very hard choice” amid U.S.–Russia negotiations over a 28-point draft plan that would force major concessions. He said Ukraine now faces “one of the most difficult moments in our history,” describing pressure on Kyiv as “one of the heaviest.”

Zelensky explained the stark dilemma: “Either the difficult 28 points, or an extremely hard winter — the hardest — and further risks.” He appeared to admit that Ukraine may be forced to choose “either the loss of dignity, or the risk of losing a key partner.”

He rejected any suggestion that Kyiv seeks to block a ceasefire: “We will not give the enemy grounds to say that it is Ukraine that does not want peace. That will not happen.” But he made clear that surrendering to Russian demands is not an option: “A life without freedom, dignity, and justice — and believing someone who has already attacked twice.”

Zelensky said talks with Washington will continue and that he intends to “present arguments, persuade, and propose alternatives” while resisting a deal that would reward Russian aggression.
