A WHITE IBERIAN LYNX has been SPOTTED in southern Spain. Experts say it is the first ever recorded in the world.
The Iberian lynx, a majestic and almost mythical feline, was on the brink of extinction just twenty years ago. The species, classified as vulnerable by the IUCN, numbered only 94 individuals in 2002.
A truly extraordinary event.
