⚡️👥 One in ten people in the World reportedly own crypto.

A report by Epoch reveals that more than 824 million people worldwide own digital assets.

According to the study, between 422 and 455 million people worldwide would own #Bitcoin, or around 5% of the world's population.

The study also highlights for the first time the concept of ownership "by association", where individuals are indirectly exposed to cryptocurrencies through their spouses or partners.

If these individuals were included, the figures would be significantly higher.

Traditionally, cryptocurrency ownership has been dominated by young men. However, the study indicates a shift with more and more women entering the ecosystem.

Around 13% of women aged between 26 and 45 claim to own Bitcoin, although it seems this figure is heavily influenced by ownership "by association".
