⚡️🚨 NEW - Mustafa Barghouti, Palestinian politician and co-founder of the Palestinian National Initiative, called Trump’s Gaza plan a “great disappointment” that is riddled with “mines.” He slammed Trump for being openly biased toward Israel, ignoring Palestinians’ right to self-determination, and failing to address the core issue: Israeli occupation.

The “mines”/ dangers:

1. No real Israeli withdrawal: only vague “stages,” with Netanyahu explicitly saying it will be “slow” — Barghouti calls it a recipe for disaster.

2. Israel could restart the war: even after captives are returned, Netanyahu has said he would resume genocide if he wanted. Without guarantees, Israel could manipulate events to justify more attacks.

3. Foreign rule will be imposed: Plan sidelines all Palestinian institutions and brings in Tony Blair, whom Barghouti called a “war criminal” for Iraq. Keeping Israeli troops in Gaza and letting Blair oversee governance is, in his words, “a recipe for continuation of the war rather than ending it.”

He said the plan looks like a unilateral U.S.-Israeli ultimatum, not a serious peace process.
