⚡️🇺🇸🇰🇵 NEW - The Department of Justice claims that US citizens helped North Korean IT workers infiltrate 136 US companies.

15.1 million USDT stolen by North Koreans in 2023 has been frozen by Tether.

The North Korean group behind this scheme is believed to be Advanced Persistent Threat 38 (APT38).

Four US citizens and one Ukrainian national have admitted to helping North Korean IT workers fraudulently obtain jobs at US companies by providing stolen identities and hosting company laptops.

More than 136 American companies were affected, generating more than $2.2 million in revenue for the North Korean regime, and more than 18 American citizens' identities were compromised, according to the Department of Justice.
