When I look back, I say to myself: what a road we have come. On December 26, 2024, I decided to join Nostr. I download Primal, I create an account, and I immediately see the huge boulevard in front of me: No one correctly relays the news here.
I don't hesitate. I take the subscription to reserve the Flash nickname (I was still hesitating between "Alert" and "Breaking"...)
Two days later, on December 28, I receive a photo of a guy from Nostr - whose nickname I completely forgot (if you see this message, say hello).
He had posted Flash on his GameBoy. And on the screen, we could see that I had 10 followers in 48 hours. For an account that had just been born, it was already huge.
No one would have imagined that today, 333 days later, And after tens of thousands of notes,
Flash would become the number 1 information relay of the Nostr protocol.
Trust is slowly earned. It took me 333 days and more than 2600 hours to consider having obtained it.
